Terms of use
Last updated November 7, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and AskNonnie LLC ("we") for using Ask Nonnie. By using the app, you agree to them.
Who can use Ask Nonnie
You must be at least 13 to make an account, and old enough to make a purchase where you live to subscribe. Keep your sign-in private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Your recipes stay yours
You own the recipes, photos, recordings and stories you add. You give us permission to store them, process them, and show them to the people you choose to share with, only so we can run the app. That permission ends when you delete them, except for copies other people have already passed on with your permission.
Share what's yours to share
- Only add photos, recordings and recipes you have the right to share. Don't copy whole recipes or photos from published cookbooks or websites.
- Ask before you record or post someone else.
- Be kind. No harassment, hate, or anything illegal. We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
Cooking advice and nutrition
Nutrition numbers are estimates. Answers from the Ask Nonnie helper can be wrong. Always check ingredients for allergies, cook food to safe temperatures, and talk to a doctor or dietitian about medical diets. Nothing in the app is medical advice.
Subscriptions
Some features may need a paid subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We'll tell you why when we can.
The fine print
We work hard to keep Ask Nonnie running and your recipes safe, but the app is provided "as is," without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
